i5 and i7 processor question?

Would I notice the difference between the i5 2500s and the i7 2600 when doing hd video editing in Sony Vegas and the odd bit of gaming?

agree you wont tell much difference i7 is more for multitasking if your going to do that go with the i7 otherwise i would go for the i5
