Is this computer any good for gaming?

Nope. It only has a 450w power supply, and seeing as they don't specify what brand it is (or some of the other items they offer too) you can bet that they are very cheap, budget and should be avoided

They are all terrible. The one above has integrated graphics, a no-brand power supply

You won't be able to game on them

I'm sure your right but....why is it not a gaming pc?

Because a gaming PC needs suitable hardware to play games properly. The one above would play games slightly better than the previous ones posted, but again, probably crap PSU, the video card is still weak, the CPU adds way too much to the cost for very little gain, and because the case/mobo looks to be some generic HP, you won't be able to upgrade/overclock.

Thanks guys...

Wow....I never knew PC gaming would be soooo expensive....

I'm probably going to sound like a total 'noob' when i say this but.....

Are they better than X-box's and PS3, that seem to run things pretty amazinly if you have a decent TV....

And you can grab a X-box for £150 ?

Cheers

I was reading the last link he posted and i noticed the advert said this: "SAVE YOURSELF AROUND £3000.00 IN HARDWARE COSTS." I lol'd.

PC gaming is cheaper in the long run, mainly due to the much lower cost of games, but power and upgradability also play a part. You could build a decent gamer for less than £400 that will smash any console in terms of graphics and performance. Also you can obviously use the PC for much more than just gaming, its a media center, word processor, number cruncher, multi-functional powerhouse which is all-in-one!
