Backup question

Hello, and thanks for the help. I use my Norton 360 to backup my pc to a Western Digital...My Passport USB HDD. I have selected everything that I want to backup, photos, documents, etc. I noticed that after each backup is complete, all the information is not stored. The simple stuff like word documents are not backed up. My question....Can I copy and paste my entire C: drive to my passport? There is plenty of room. And if so, Can I do this on a regular basis to update my backups or will it just copy the drive again and add another copy to it. Thanks for the help. I hope I explained it well enough. D

Clonezilla
Each backup -- name the same and overwrite; or, on election, save incremental changes under differing names before doing something risky!

Yes you can copy entire C: drive to external WD HDD.Do it with Linux Ubuntu 9.04 CD which you can download from the internet for free.Just burn the downloaded ISO image file to the CD and boot from it.

Cheers!
