Hi..
I am Thinking of

Processor: Athlon II x4 640 3.0GHz 2.5mb
Mobo: Asus M4A88T-M
RAM: 4gb Geil DDR3 1333MHZ with Heatsink
ATX: Trendsonic Vision
PSU: Huntkey V-power 550w

By the way I already Have a ATI HD 5570 Graphics card that i could use for the new rig

What can you say with the parts? Kindly help me decide if these are all ok.

Kindly tell me if i need to get a better part, a new one or add some parts to this build to make it better.
My budget runs from 300 to 350 USD for the CPU only.

I do multitasking with my computer like photo editing while surfing the net, Playing HD videos, Playing music and occasionally some gaming such as Mass Effect 2, Monday night madness, Need for speed hot pursuit, etc.

You need a better power supply, that thing stands better odds of blowing up than working properly. Go for reputable brands; Antec and Seasonic will probably be mostly what you're looking at in your price range. You really can't cheap out on the power supply, the money you save by getting it can really come back to bite you in the ass when it takes out your whole machine. Everything else looks solid though and should give you excellent bang for your buck.

EDIT: After some quick googling I can safely say AVOID THAT POWER SUPPLY AT ALL COSTS. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/754 They reviewed four different versions of that power supply. Not only did all of them blow up, but they also found out the V-Power and the Green edition are identical. Meaning they're trying to hawk their weaker supplies as more powerful ones. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money on it. :)

Silverstone, Antec, OCZ or Corsair are probably what I'd go for. You don't have a very power hungry system, so you don't need more than 400-450w. You will be limited in upgrades for the future though. Mostly only in the graphics card department though, so if you don't have any plans to upgrade soon then you have nothing to worry about. As far as specifically which one to pick, I'd probably go for the SilverStone.

^Just to add my two cents: if the Acbel happens to be any cheaper than the others, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I have a 500w Acbel, and it's done me good so far.

Ok..thank you..Uhm so if i add a DVD_R/rw would a 400 watts psu still be enough for the system?

Does anyone here thinks the same with acbel? Cause i am thinking of the OCZ 500w or Silverstone 400w right now? Uhm and I think I have to include an ASUS 24x dvdr/rw in the system too so would the 400w suffice?

No worries, those are both great brands. ;) Acbel is a viable alternative, but I would get those if they're the same price as the Acbel.

Uhm ok..thnx..Acbel is priced lower by 16 USD for the first one and lower by 8 USD with the 2nd one with LED

but will the 400w suffice for the athlon IIx4 with 2 harddrives, a hd 5570 gpu, 2 cahssis fans and a dvdr/rw?..if yes i think i'll have the silverstone strider 400..if not then i'll get the ocz stealthxstream 500w

400w should be fine. DVD-ROM drives don't add a whole lot of wattage. The main components drawing substantial power are your CPU and GPU. Everything else is relatively low in power consumption. If you want the extra wiggle room then get the 500w if you can afford it, but the system on a quality 400w should be fine.

ok then..i'll take the 400w corsair..is it ok?..I think i love it more than the silverstone since basically the corsair looks better with all it's wire are well sheeted..:o

The Final Build Parts

This are the parts that i would buy:
AMD AM3 ATHLON II X4 640 3.0GHZ 2.5MB L3 PHP4,900--USD 112.21

ASUS M4A88T-M AMD 880G/SB710 DDR3 PHP4,000-- USD 91.6

GEIL 4GB(1x4) DDR3 1333MHz PHP1,850-- 42.37

400CX 400WATTS PHP2,850--USD 65.27

TRENDSONIC VISION W/O PSU PHP1,950-- USD 44.66

A total of = 356.09 USD or 15,550 PHP

This is what i have now:
WESTERN DIGITAL 500GB BLUE
SAPPHIRE HD5570 1GB DDR3 128BIT

This is what i'll purchase in the near future:
ASUS DVDRW LIGHTSCRIBE SATA BLACK PHP1,300-- USD 29.77

Will this be great?..Are there any revision that could help me lessen the cost but the same performance or quality?By the way

The only way we can really give any further revisions would be to look at your source. Since different areas have vastly different prices something that would be cheaper for me in Canada may be much more costly for someone in New Zealand.

That aside however, everything looks fine, although you didn't include any ram in your most recent list, I'm assuming you just forgot to put it in, not that you've forgotten it entirely.

OOPs..yeah i forgot the Ram..well i edited it already.

Yeah I'd say go with the Corsair bud. They're a pretty solid brand and you have a low power system, so it'll be great for what you want it to do. If you do decide to upgrade your GPU later you'll need an upgrade though, so keep that in mind.

OKIE DOKIE..uhm i think i won't upgrade my gpu for let say a period of 2 years so by then maybe i would have saved money to upgrade both..lol..anyway just bought that gpu last week because of its value for money and being low profile card..:D

Will anyone agree if i'll change the board to ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 at PHP 3800--87.02 USD..or the MSI 740gm-p25--64.14USD or Emaxx amd880g-fxn--77.86USD or ASUS M4N68T-M V2 - 57.25 USD?

Cause someone suggested that i could change my board with a cheaper one at tomshardware forum:confused:
