F funkysnair VIP Member Feb 12, 2011 #4 the gtx295 is dx10 and runs hot 5-20% faster than the 5870, 5870 plays all games under dx11 runs cool and uses a little less power then the gtx295... if i never had a gpu and both of the where in my price range i would choose the 5870 over it anyday.
