Hi,
I have been set with the task of upgrading a system to run games.
I am extremely familiar with gaming machines however I cannot change the motherboard in this case.
Asus P5QL-VM DO
The intel core 2 quad series seems the most practical solution (core 2 extreme are a bit pricey)
The problem im having is that there is such a range of CPUs within the series and the spec is not much difference between succesors/predecesors.
Can anybody suggest which would be best for this board?
I know it is vague, but any replies are appreciated.
