Figured since I didn't see a welcoming forum on the list that posting my new specs would do the trick. Don't know as much as I should about computers and decided to join this community and hopefully learn a thing or two. Never hurts to expand your knowledge. On to the niddy gritty. I have a pretty solid computer as of now but I wasn't "that" involved with the building process, loading software, etc. It was built back in 09' and am selling it to buy this new one. I didn't really go big on it other than the video card at the time (GTX 285). Now, I want to build this new one. My budget is 2,000 dollars.
I am sure some will say don't have your first build be an expensive one, but I tend to dive in rather than crawl in. So I suppose I should give yall a list of what I will be buying.

BD Player - Sony(Dur) Using the blue-ray player from old comp and putting it into this new one.
I was going to go with a low rpm HDD and use that in conjunction with a 180g SSD but I've decided against it. I will wait when SSD is more reliable and cheaper in the coming months/year and upgrade then. Here is what I want so far, tell me what yall think, comment, critique, I would love to hear yalls thoughts on this build.
Just in case yall are curious. I will run this computer on my 55' LCD and my Insignia surround sound system. All HDMI connected.
