Looking to build a comp for the first time, i need help/learning of components.
usage: gaming, multimonitor, video edit, ps, basically kinda want it to work all around good.
i want to build a LGA1366 comp.
i heard sandybridge is the newest and not much diff in price but there is a current defect? i dont know whats going on, should i try for a sandybridge build???
question: on ncix why is
isnt higher the model # + better ghz better? is that just bad pricing on ncix?
how is 960 vs 950? worth the price difference?
so i dont know what motherboard to get. there seems to be a few main choices for the 1366, p6x58d, sabertooth, ud3r???
can someone help me explain the differences, advantages over them?
I am considering overclock+watercooling in the future but it is not priority since i never tried OC before.
how is this one comapared to those 3, msi x58a-gd45
Case, im looking for a budget good enough one. seems like Antec 300 is a good choice, maybe the sonata 3?
how is this one
Graphics card: i havent really looked into it yet but i would like to buy one for now and then SLI/crossfire it in the future. <200$ seems to buy a good vid card these days?
Powersupply: so i dont know what kinda power i will be needing, but i would like one that can handle everything for future upgrades of:
Misc: what kind of misc stuff will i be requiring, what kinda fans/thermal paste?!?!/etc will i need to make this a complete computer. If i missed out some basic parts required to run a computer; i didnt leave it out because they were obvious, i dont know what they are. so point those out for me too.
and with this build, will it survive without water cooling? will water cooling fit in the antec 300?
mucho gracias
budget is around the 1000$ mark, +/- couple hundred?
and do you guys forsee any of the parts becoming cheaper in the near future? within 3month??
also imma try to buy these parts separetely trying to take advantage of the weekly sales from ncix/newegg/memeoryexpress/tigerdirect etc....
are there any parts on these special sales that is worth buying right now, for this build?
thanks
