Hey so i have a question, i have just tried digsby and noticed that it sorta is bogging my machine more then i would like. What chat service do people recommend that will not slow my machine down a ton? Thanks in advance
 
Google Talk, Jabber, MSNM, it all depends on the client you use.
Pidgin is a great client, plenty of great features and it connects to almost every service out there.
 
also is there any chat services that you can log into one account and still IM people on other services? Example (i'm just using digsby for example purposes) with digsby you can log into your aim account and your msn account and ect. But what i want to do is log into a digsby account (or any account) and be able to IM people logged in on other services. Im sorry if this sounds confusing i don't really know how to explain it very well.

I would think so, it's only using about 18 MB of RAM on my machine right now, and it's really fast.
Give it a shot.

That's what I said when I said that it connects to almost every service out there.
