HTPC Build

I will be building an HTPC for my parents,For CPU,Motherboard,RAM,PSU,Case I will see what all used,cheap and good stuff I can get.But as for the GPU is concerned I need some suggestions.
I want a GPU which should support the following things.
1.Full HD
2.3D
3.HDMI 1.4 so that I can play 3D movies on the TV.

And one more question if I go with Nvidia would it be compulsory to buy the 3d vision kit or just the 3D Tv and TV glasses will do.
The HTPC will be used only movies and also Net browsing so I want the cheapest Card possible.

I'd be interested to see the comments on this as well. When I was building my HTPC I was asking around on various sites and anyone who helped me out all had the same thing to say, unless money wasn't an issue (I had a MAX budget of €400) it wouldn't be worth my while using a HTPC for Blu Ray, let alone 3D (which I have no interest in as long as glasses are involved)

So I kept my PS3 for Blu Ray and use my HTPC for normal DVD's which I have converted onto its HDD, internet TV, and I will use it for satellite tv but I just haven't brought a cable down to the room its in from the dish yet

I was thinking about the GTX 460 but thought would be better to get more reviews.
Also wanted something in competetion from AMD.
