I use both Ubuntu and Windows 7.
I use ubuntu for all the basic purposes like watching videos and music and programming and programming and internet.
I use Windows for games.
Everyone has their own utilities,I myself am not very comfortable programming in Windows. But still most of the people I know program in windows itself and there is nothing wrong with that, its just a personal preference.
But to make your opinion a fact is a completely different matter which you did.
Windows 7 is a really nice OS and I believe anyone on this forum who uses any other alernative OS has a Windows OS in dual boot with it.
Windows is easy to use and very user friendly and Windows 7 is a really powerful OS.
I agree that vista was not upto the mark since they made the entire OS from scratch but they fixed alot of issues in 7.But still Vista was not so bad.
And update is a part of software.Otherwise we would still be stuck with DOS only. And as for Browsers we would still be using the old slow browser instead of Firefox 4 or Google Chrome.
