Can I support 4 monitors?

Hey everyone,

My system is running the following:

- Mobo / ASUS P7P55D iP55
- CPU / i7 870 2.93GHz
- GPU / PALIT GTX 460 SONIC 1024MB GDDR5 [http://www.ebuyer.com/product/227182]

I know its a long shot, but as there is two DVI ports, a VGA and an HDMI port, would it be possible to have 4 screens connected? Ideally what i'd like is 3x 22" and one 32"

Nope. nVidia cards can only support 2 monitors at a time using any 2 ports.

Ah ok. A I expected then. Ok, in that case, is it possible for me to get a second video card to support another two monitors?

sure, you could get a second video card to drive the other monitors, doesnt necessarily have to be the same, but it can be

Fantastic. Is there any risk in terms of stability in doing this?

As long as you have the power to drive it, I don't see that should cause a problem. I have 2 monitors and have had 2 monitors for years and never a stability issue from my video card.
