Question About Linux Mint 11

My brother's system is running Linux Mint Version 11.

His system gets hung every now and again for no apparent reason. I am wondering if anyone else is having issues like this with Linux Mint 11. I personally think it is a hardware issue but I was curious if anyone is having issues like this.

Mind you it's only a release candidate. There's bound to be bugs. I'd drop down to LM10 or even LM9 unless you want the "newest and buggiest".

I think we are going to try Linux Mint Version 9 on his desktop and see how it works. I do not like any operating system when it is first released. It seems there are too many bugs to work out of them.

Yeah I upgraded to LM10 after it was finally released and it ran like crap, so I downgraded back to LM9.

I'm running LM10, with no issues. Have been since it came out.
I tried LM11, and i didn't see too many bugs, certainly didn't have the issue your did, but it also didnt warrant a upgrade to either.
