the difference mainly is the insurance price is more for less with less coverage on the xplorer

I was digging the fact alienware laser draws your name into a metal plate so if someone steals it it always has your name on it. Plus I was planning on using it to travel and if I got home I'd use a docking station to play or just the laptop

Yes That's true, but based off these benchmark scores, the gtx 460 benches higher than the gt 555. And the thing is only 1200. But bro, I have an alienware myself and it's pretty nice, so I won't recommend against it.
