monitor help

I sent my monitor LG W1934S-BN 19" ( http://www.softchoice.com/catalog/product.aspx?R=X32479_US_EN ) to arrange, because it had the power supply damaged, some time later they said that they could not get the monitor arranged and they sent to me a new Asus VH197D of 18.5" ( http://www.accesspointe.com/appl/catalog/productdetail.aspx?productid=1249962 ) . I got to lose by the exchange?

Comparing the monitors it looks as if the replacement monitor is 1/2 inch smaller but has very similar specifications. What is it that you do not like about the new monitor?

That´s what Casey said...I paid for a 19 inch and they send to me a 18.5"........yes they have very similar specifications (just a small drop 1400x900 and now 1360x768 ) ,but I would be more satisfied if they if send me a 19"!!!!

This confuses me. I'm assuming you sent the monitor to LG for repair. Why would they send you an Asus back? Regardless. I would call them up and complain an earful till you got a better monitor.

Did they give you a bill of the Asus monitor with the Date of purchase same as the date they sent you a monitor?
Because if they did then you get extended warranty and if not then call them up and fight. :gun:

look both have at same config but the new one is small. i believe they must have different quality.

I sent my LG to the store where I bought it (Worten), and they sent it in to LG ........ Because they could not get it fixed in the LG, the store where I bought it (Worten) offered me a new Asus monitor !
