Help!!!!!!!

Not really wrong section. Its in laptops so it qualifies. And arrow is on a keyboard. Not mouse.

When you say it freezes, does the key get stuck down? Or it acts like normal, just the computer keeps the arrow going?

Used to be in the off topic section lol.

Perhaps he is referring the the arrow-like pointer on the screen, controlled by the mouse. If so, try unplugging the attached mouse and using the touch-pad on the laptop to see if you still get the same problem, if you aren't, then you need to clean your mouse or buy a new one. However, if the touch-pad also appears to be malfunctioning or you didn't use a separate mouse, then it could be cause by several things:

1) Driver problems. Try updating/ reinstalling the drivers for your mouse, I've also read it could be caused by problems with the NVIDIA drivers, so try updating your GPU drivers. I've read that someone fixed this problem by disabling their wireless card (I'm not certain how the wireless card could interfere with the mouse pointer, but just a suggestion if nothing else works).
2) Too much programs running, causing your PC to freeze up and have issues. In this case, you should make sure you have enough RAM, or make sure you don't have too many processes running at once.
3) Possibly a corrupt OS file that may be causing issues, not very likely but there is nothing wrong with running ChkDsk to scan for and fix any file system errors.

I think it's probably #1 above. If you were referring to the arrow on your keyboard, well, then, just clean out the key on the board.

What the heck guys?! He means the little key on the keyboard with an arrow doesn't he?

Maggiemay48, please clarify.

Do you mean the key on the keyboard? Which makes the cursor move when typing? Does the key stick in the keyboard or pop back out?

Or do you mean the cursor on screen moved by the mouse?

What kind of mouse are you using? If it's a ball mouse, take it apart and clean the little rollers.
