the games i will be playing are minecraft, sims 3, test drive unlimited 2. stuff like those games, also can you tell me if all of them can do it, or how many of them can do it, so that if the cheaper packard bell can still run it, i can get that for cheaper.

I'd say the amd athlon x4 because on most occasions they have better performance than intel and AMD specialize in gaming, and to be honest, if you can - you'll be better off building one your self, you'll save alot of money!

Good luck!

Yeah the Packard Bell will run those games, but not amazingly, integrated graphics should just about cope will medium-low settings. Much better performance per pound lies with this, old generation CPU so kind of dead end in terms of upgrades but it'll run those games a million times better with the GTX550Ti than the HD graphics with the Packard Bell. The Acer is way overpriced for what you get. The HP seems the best deal out of those 3, but you get much better value with the aforementioned PC which comes with a free overclock which is very tricky and possibly dangerous on OEM (branded) PCs, and a graphics card that will be able to max out those games
