I will eventually upgrade both, but im noticing that basically any modern games i play have a terrible framerate (i bought rift and its virtually unplayable at low settings) . I'm going to want to play swtor when it comes out and I want to know which I should upgrade first to see the biggest FPS increase. Also any suggestions of what I should upgrade to would be appreciated (Anything under $200). Thanks :)

Specs:
AMD Athlon X2 250 Processor 3.0Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GT 220 Graphics card
4 GB DDR3 Memory
Windows 7 64 bit
600 Watt power supply

The CPU is fine really. Not great, but certainly not shit.

Please download and install PC Wizard and install it. The run it and go to file, save as, and click ok. Copy the text out of that file into this thread.

Also please state what model and brand that PSU is.

For 200 you can get a great card. I would get something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125357

However you will need to ensure that your PSU is sufficiently powerful and quality.

So, post PC Wizard report, PSU specs and what resoution you plan on playing games at (size of monitor - now and any upgrades planned)

If you're replacing both, the GPU is the best be by far.

Post reports - :)

yep. new video card is the way to go I would say. You've got enough RAM and the processor probably won't be holding it back. Radeon 5850's are going pretty cheap, as are 5770s. If you want something a bit higher up then the 6870's are good too.
