i5 2500K or i7 2600 ?

Hi guys! I'm just building a new mid-range PC for producing music and i can't decice between I5 2500K or I7 2600 (non K). What do you think, which one would be better for my usage? Is it really worth the extra money for I7? 2600K is over my budget, so 2600 would be the only chance, but this one has worse graphic card then i5 2500K. Is this important for me if i don't play games and only produce music, watch movies and surf the internet?

Can i even buy a 1600mhz when it says in specification of my motherboard: "Support for DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules"?

No, do not get 1600mhz RAM if your MoBo can't handle it.

The only difference between the 2500 and 2500k is that the 2500k has unlock multipliers so it can overclock like a beast. Do you plan on overclocking? If so, go for the 2500k. If not, the 2600 is better than a stock 2500.

What's you video card choices?
 
No video card, cause i don't play games.

How much % faster would be i7 2600 then overclocked I5 2500K in DAW program?

It probably wouldn't. As you can easily hit 4.4GHz on stock cooling and pushing to 5 on a decent air cooler, the i5 would take the 2600 to the cleaners
