What do you think of this Dell desktop?

I saw this Dell Studio XPS Desktop which is a Core 17-2600 processor. It runs at 3.4GHZ (which can be faster with Turbo Speed), has 8GB ram and a 1.5TB HDD (there's no monitor though).

Best Buy is selling it for $1,000.

I put together something similar and it cost me $856.93, $904.69 (not sure about the shipping costs) with shipping.
Here are the parts I used:

What are you going to use the PC for, because you could probably save more money and get a less expensive system that will still be great for you.

2) Streaming
3) Software games

When you say software games do you mean games like COD4 and Crysis 2 that would be run on high settings? Because the rest of the items in the list don't require a high-end PC at all.

I say build your own! But for what you are using it for doesn't seem bad honestly. Or buy a custom built rig that someone is selling. If I could have found one or was more patient you can pick up really really nice rigs for a steal! Once I get enough post's here mine will be for sale and cost around 2,200 to build and that isn't including taxes and I am only asking 1200.00 to dump it fast for my race season =) IT SUMMER TIME BABY!!! but for real though that would be up to you since you aren't doing anything hardcore.

The specs also say that with Turbo Boost, it can get up to 3.8GHZ, but I read elsewhere that it can get up to 3.73GHZ speed.

This will change as I'm getting myself a USB 3.0 computer next year so what I'm doing is researching and keeping track of the market to get started.

To mention, price is secondary to me as I'm looking to get the most bang for the buck (realistically, not counting ISP costs, I'm estimating total cost will be in the $1,500 to $2,000 range)

i7 2600k
HD 5770
8GB Memory

It would game, but don't expect it to be on highest settings on everything, and in the near future expect to be on medium settings in every game.

For $1000, you can do much better by building it yourself

I don't have the skill to build it myself. Whoever puts it together I'll make sure it's warrantied.
