What graphic card suits this computer for gaming?

The graphic card it came with (NVIDIA Geforce GT 420) has a horrible benchmark, which I didnt notice until I tried it.

Can someone recommend a graphic card that has a decent benchmark,
$150 at tops, can run high end games at least like on medium smoothly, and is
compatible with my computer??

You have a 500W PSU but mostly the PSU used by OEM are pretty crappy. You might want to change the PSU to something of a decent brand.

with a upgraded psu, yes. just change the power supply first to something like a corsair or a antec unit

The TDP of a GTX 460 1024MB is 160W so yes theoretically your PSU can run the GPU but I wouldn't trust a good GPU like the GTX460 on an OEM's computers PSU.

A good PSU is a must.
