Is this any good? (Packard Bell)

I was thinking about buying a notebook. I went to some stores here and I liked Packard Bell EASYNOTE LX86 43cm very much, but the problem is, I have never heard of this brand. Can someone share their experiences with me? It doesn't have to be this model, just the brand.

Packard Bell withdrew from the U.S. market in 2000, but is still popular in Europe. They are a subsidiary of Acer.

I bought the e-Machine it's a Acer and it's been a really good small computer, no a gaming machine but it can do a lot of things and do them well. Best Buy had a bunch of them last November at $275US a steal they sold out quickly.;)
