Downloaded File-Very Lost !!

I went to C.Net downloads and downloaded a program called "Tinnitus Tamer". I have severe ear ringing and i'm looking for a program that I can adjust a masking noise that matches my tinnitus. When I download this program it shows up in my C:\documents folder. Usually the program will open up so I can try the 14 day free trial. The problem is no matter what I do I can't get it to open the program. What am I doing wrong? Many Thanks!

What is the full name of the downloaded file (including extension) that you see in your documents folder? It most likely is a compressed file file with a .zip extension.

Many thanks for your input. What I downloaded came from vavsoft.com/tinnitus_tamer
I clicked on the red box that says: Tinnitus Tamer Windows 7 32bit & 64bit. Version 3.5.3
Size 2.0 mb Hope this makes some sense.

Just got done going to cnet downloads and downloaded the windows xp version and the same thing happened. It showed up in a file that says IZArc-C/documents. Click and right click and nothing happens.

You downloaded a zip file, which needs to be unzipped and then run the file named Tinnitus Tamer.
