Steam 2011 Summer Sale

Hydrophobia was on sale for $3 so I grabbed that yesterday. I'll have to take another look through the store.
 
Yeah, that wasn't part of the summer sale. It just started today. I'm either getting the witcher 2, or waiting for dead space 2 to go on sale. Warband is 10 dollars off right now as well.
 
Have just bought Frontlines Fuel of War and having lots of fun.I might get Homefront when they sort it out,if they sort it out that is.Whats that Hydrophobia about and is it worth getting.

It's part of it now, but now it's only 66% off.

Not too sure myself. I watched the preview on Steam and thought it seemed okay.

I hate this sale so much. I keep buying games. I bought the hitman franchise, supreme commander 2, and post apocalyptic mayhem today.


And yea, i picked up hyrdophobia the other day, but I'm still playing though darksiders :P (which i also just got) so i'll get to that later.

I bought Hydrophobia, Left4Dead/Left4Dead2, Stalker, and the Splinter Cell Complete Pack.
 
So far I have only purchased Garry's Mod and Audiosurf. None of the other sale games really interest me so far.

Anyone have recommendations?

Probably the reason I am not going all out is because I did it the last two sales and obtained a huge stock of games I haven't even began to play yet. :D
 
The only games I wanted was the witcher 2, warband and dead space 2, but I just picked up dead space 2 and I think I am getting witcher 2 from a friend.

I have the entire Hitman collection on DVD so I didn't need that :) And I don't care for the old Doom games.
 
Yeah, well i finally have a computer (new laptop) that can handle something more then basic valve games, so i had a ball with it :P
I don't think any of them cost more then $5 individually, usually most of the ones in the packs were like $3 something each.
 
So far ive got sims3 with high-end loft stuff, worms reloaded, kotor and downloading X3 terran conflict at the moment. Steam must make a fortune with these sales.
 
I love the steam sales,I bought Fear Collection the other day for next to nothing and today i got Duke Nukem Forever for £14.99 (29.99 normal price)

ha yeah shows you how duke didn't do so well if its going for half price not long after its been released :P
 
I just picked up Magicka for $8.50 and Portal 2 for $25. Magicka is supposed to be well worth that price, and Portal 2 is well, Portal 2... :)
 
Just picked up Sanctum for $3.50 to try it out. A castle defense game that is FPS. You build blocks/towers/upgrades just like any other flash version castle defense game, but in this game, you are able to play a character, and can help your towers by shooting down the waves that get by them. It also to happens that the game is 4 person co-op.

So after playing 3 waves of it and having a blast, I went back to purchase another copy on my other steam account for my gf and other buddies to play, to find out that there is a 4 person pack for $6 more($9) so I picked that up.

It is definitely a BLAST, so pick it up before the sale goes away. Definitely worth the $3.50 or $9(and some change)
