I am going to purchase the i7 2600k processor.
when i look at tigerdirect for a Corsair CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler with They also suggest buying the Cooler Master V8 CPU Fan. What is it one or the other i should use. Can I use both. Thanks for your help.:D

Next question which is the best cooling system to purchase? A case with liquid cooling system or just the Hydro series cooler? Do you have to buy a case capable of liquid cooling? What shall I do?

get a decent stack cooler over the h60 if you want top of the line cooling, for silence the h60 is a better choice, case...with liquid cooling to me is overrated

I have the H60 and it's like others say, it's about equal to high end coolers. Corsair are releasing the H80 and H100 soon, the H100 has a double sized radiator compared to the other ones. It also has it's own mounting system for intel sockets, which is good for cooling

I'd get an air cooler if it's your first build (which it sounds like it is) as liquid cooled gives you more way to destroy the computer. You most likely won't need liquid cooling anyway, so just go with the air cooled solution.

If the processor isn't OEM then it will come with a heatsink which may also suffice for you.

aftermarket cooling is only really needed for real oc'ing, and if you live in a hot and dry area without good room cooling

Corsair says their units are good for at least 5 years without leakage. Mine doesn't leak at all.

Pretty much, but other reasons to upgrade include keeping noise down, and the lower the temperature of components, the longer they will live.

ive seen a h50 leak, and the liquid is non conductive, so if it does get on anything just clean it off, and you will be good to go. fwiw, it did happen on a pair of gtx260 core 216s and leaked all over em, the machine went thermal and shut down, otherwise everything was fine, after the cleanup, he reinstalled the replacement h50 and everything was ok.
