Best laptop brands

Acer is good if you buy there higher end computers cause the cheap ones they sell are prone to break more often.
 
I would have to agree with Voyager on the Lenovo Thinkpads. Dell's quality has come down. And Asus parts are just hard to find when it comes to repairs. I'm on my second IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad and my last notebook lasted for 5 years! Until the mother board gave out. Then I just bought a new mother board very inexpensively (www.epartbin.net) they installed it, and I gave the notebook to my son. He loves it! Then I went and got a new Lenovo Thinkpad! :)
 
I don't like Alienware, they just don't offer you enough options for that kind of coin. I sort of like the look of them, the alien symbol is kinda cool. I just don't think it would really do it for me to be honest.
