But if you must the HD3850 is the best. Waste of money none-the-less.
I suggest you spend close to $400 on a new i3 system or i5 system and be done wth it and use your current rig gear. Not really worth AGP IMHO.

The HD3850 is the fastest card supported by the AGP 8x bus. Any faster and you will see no improvement in performance.

you dont necessarily need to upgrade to an i3. If you have a LGA775 Pentium4 or core2 series, then you could just upgrade the motherboard to one with a PCI express port (about 10 times the bandwith of AGP 8x.) and transfer all your other parts.

$124 to be exact. For 280 more you can have a i5 system.

Well, this was a long time ago and my graphics card died so I just need a replacement one. More like I wasted the difference between a 4670 and a 3850.
