K so my internet is incredibly slow. I'm lucky if I get around 2 KB/s (Thank god for Opera Turbo). Download managers are supposed to resume downloads, right?

I want an application that is able to resume downloads, because no matter what I download, it quits at about 10% of the transfer. It could be 20 kilos or 1 terra byte; it always quits around 10% for somereason, and then the internet is completely out for about 20 minutes.

How can I resume downloads? The ability included with browsers never work, and if it actually does manage to resume, the file turns out corrupted.

If you can download this then it may work,it worked for me when I had a slow internet,By the way how come your internet is so slow, where do you stay?

Get Free Download Manager. I tried IDM [previous poster linked] but I think it expired after I did not buy it. :P Free Download Manager is Free though, as you guessed.

The lite version is 2.1 MB, here is the direct link to it. [the lite version is slimmed down, not including some features like BitTorrent, and some other things you will most likely not need, and since your connection is slow, I'd go for the 2.1MB download (vs the 6MB for the full program)]

Here's the download page though if you want the full version [6 MB]

And @mehul, maybe he has Dial Up?
