First Build, Need Advice

looking for some help here: i will be putting this together today. do i install EVERYTHING before turning it on? or is it wiser to wait and install things like the video card until everything is up and running?

thanks for any help!

doesn't matter at all. you're going to have to install them at some point. Probably put them in before you turn it on, that way the computer configures itself with the video card in. i dunno. anyone else?

Install the motherbaord, CPU, 1 stick of RAM and the graphics card and the 1 Windows hard drive. Install Windows and update Windows. Shutdown and install remaining RAM. Then install other hardware 1 at a time.

and reboot between install that way if it doesn't work no need to trouble shoot 20 things, only 1, and when installing unplug the computer completely from all power and hold the case to reent static and other issues that can kill your components, and i don't think some of these things can be replaced with warranty if that happens, might but idk, it really isn't as hard as it sounds, could just wear cloth/canvas gloves they don't really conduct so should work

well with that no need to ground to the case as there will be no static shock or anything, think about it, it would work

No buddy, doesn't work like that. You just touch the case before diving in, no need for Michael Jackson impersonations. :D

as cool as it looks, wearing white gloves, you honestly don't need to bother. just don't rup your feet on the carpet, then try zap the computer
