Hello,

I just start thinking to build or buy complete computer.
My current computer is:
CPU: E8400
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4
RAM: OCZ Titanium XTC 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR2 800
GPU: BFG GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB
PS: CORSAIR 520HX 520W
Case: Antec Nine Hundred
monitors: Lacie 324 and Gateway FPD2485SW -- both 24" 1920x1200
win 7

I need second computer and I wasn;t on the market for long time so I don;t really know what is currently on the market. Computer will be mostly for work, internet, some programs, sometimes Photoshop, rarely games, (The only game I play sometimes is BF2 and would like that new GPU will run new BF3). Mainly it will be run around 20 opened website which refresh every 3-5 sec. My current computer after while getting pretty slow so I would like to split work on two computers. Also I would like to connect 3 monitors or maybe 1 monitor + 2 TV LCD.... so video card has to work with 3 of them... and maybe in the future up to 5-6 monitors (but not necessary now)

If you guys can help me out, any ideas what components I should choice or maybe where I can buy the whole computer. Should I look for Intel or AMD... which one will run better for my needs... how much RAM, which HDD, etc...

My budget around 1k$ maybe slightly higher if need it.

Thank You

if you play battlefield up the GPU to atleast a 1gb card i would say

Battlefield 2 on my current computer is running on full details with 1920x1200 without single lag.... I guess this game doesn;t have that much requirements... The only thing i might play sometimes BF3 which is coming in this year.... otherwise I don;t play a games... simple no time for it.... so the computer mostly has to be design to be extreme fast in windows environment and internet.

from what i have seen BF3 looks insane, and a price jump from a 512 to a 1GB shouldnt be too high, and in a year or two i highly doubt a 512 will run anything lol like my 256 one waskinda half decent about a year ago, now it doesnt run a damn thing

multiple monitors have nothing to do with memory, you can run 3 monitors off of the integrated graphics if it had that many sockets for the monitors, but they dont, here i'll put something together, but idk if you said you had all the peripheral, i.e.-mouse, keyboar, wifi adapters, and i think you said you have the 3 monitors.

and are you in america, canada, australia, uk, so i know what sites to use.

I will need also mouse and keyboard, Computer will be run internet on wire, so no need for wifi card.

I have two monitors but they will be connect to my older computer.... I will need to buy 2-3 more, but I don't include this in the price for the computer that's a separate expense...

I would like to spend on the tower around 1k $

ok, that's a good bit, we can get you a good build man. but didn't say what country so can't start till i know what site to use as they only ship to certain countries.

I put together configuration.... what do you guys think... any changes ?

CPU: i7-2600k 315$ link
Motherboard: Asrock P67 109$ link
RAM: Kingston 8GB 55$ link
GPU: HD6870 FLEX 200$ link
HDD: Samsung F3 1TB 60$ link
bluray 100$ link
PS: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W - 94$ link
Tower: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower - 99$ link

Should I go with 8GB of Ram or 16GB... 1333mhz or 1600mhz.... if so which one...

still never said which country ur in so yeah, but the 2600k is a waist, a better mobo will suit you better, the 2600k isn't any fater than the 2500k and only has slightly better en and decoding and a few small benefits, not woth the extra 100, if you aren't gaming then even the most intensive programs don't need even a 6770 as far as i know, and to get that many monitors you'll need 2 gpu's, and for this build that psu is overkill, but since you need 2 gpu's you'll need either a 700watt or more,

just tell me you budget and the country you're in and i can tell you a way bette build than you going around picking the things that look nice.

i'm from US, Rhode Island and most likely will be order parts from Newegg.

I didn;t think about two GPU's since this computer will not be for gaming.... and this radeon HD6870 can support even up to 6 monitors. Is it not a good choice ?

My budget is around 1000$ maybe slightly higher if really need it.... for computer only.... for monitors is a second budget :)
