Hello there! I'm from sweden and moving to San José soon to study. I have no clue which site is best for purchasing computers and I would love your help to put together a good gaming package that handles all the latest games on highest settings (Battle Field 3, Crysis). My budget is 1500$-ish.
Thanks // simon

Which San Jose?

Then you might be better served by going to a brick and mortar store called Fry's electronics. That place is an electronics geek's wet dream.

Anyway, you'll be able to build a system from scratch, build onto a bare-bones unit or buy a pre-built there with no problems and no shipping costs.

If you want to order your parts online then most people here will tell you Newegg.com

I will definitely check it out! From my experience buying a pre-built computer is most often a waste of money which is why I'm want someone to recommend some good hardware so I can build it from scratch. Thanks for the answer!

well if you want our help newegg may be better soi we can all see the same list of products and newegg is generally the best pricing.

Bad answer.

Newegg doesn't always have the best prices, the contents of the store I mentioned can be seen on their own website, and if the OP can drive to the store, then he saves on shipping (not to mention instant gratification).

Oh, and I, for one, am willing to work with him regardless of where he decides to shop.

forgot they had a store viewer, and if they hadn't then how would we help him, tell him to go to the store and ask for a detailed manifest of every item in their inventory, then he somhow post it, which i doubt it ill accept that many characters on here, and in generall, key word, newegg has the best prices i've seen, but for intel, microcenter wins almost every time at least for the i's, never looked at the other stuff too much, only been to fry's once and didn't know much at the time so didn't know how good their prices are, but in generall newegg is the place to go and other than the case shipping is almost always free

Don't bother trying to justify your bad posts. Just do us all a favor and resolve to be more polite in the future.
