is PWM Control Mode neccessary?

yeah the cpu fan. i had a amd stock fan before, but i changed it to a zalman.
-on this zalman manuel it said to activate PWM control mode in the BIOS

Most are already. You could look just to make sure its on auto.

Yeah, if you have a PWM fan. Like said, its probably already on. If your not sure, just look and see if its enabled and set to auto.
