I am ordering new parts to upgrade my computer, mobo, cpu, and an SSD.
I currently run windows 7 32 bit on my WD 500GB HDD. When I get my SSD I will do a fresh install of windows 7 64bit. after I install windows I will plug my HDD back in with files and it should work right?

what should I do about 32bit application that i have installed? will windows 7 64bit automatically detect it?

You will have to reinstall all applications and games after you reinstall windows 7 on your ssd. Most applications and games write registry entries or add files to the system32 folder that make the game work correctly and this only happens when it gets installed.
