If anyone wants an older EA game, they are selling several for $5 until August 9th. Games like the Sims, C&C, battlefield, need for speed, spore....well just see for yourself:

That's a pretty good deal. Mirror's Edge is pretty good and worth spending $5 on.

Creepy, as soon as I clicked the link I got a email saying my "account changed to origin account". Not logged into EA and my IP even changed after I switched tiers.
 
So I have an account for BFBC2 will all that be transfered to the Origin account? I don't really feel like having a bunch of accounts for gaming but if I already have it I might as well get some games to go with it. Anyone tried it out? Any good?
 
So this is US only then? I'm in the UK and when I go to that link I Don't go to the same page you guys are going to and when I go to tge offers page the deals I'm seeing are different, Spore isn't there just the expansion packs for like £10, Mirrors Edge isn't $5 but £10, BF2 is something like £20 I think. Disappointing.

The UK is becoming more and more like the US anyway, which is why I hate it, never mind the EU.

But anyway this Origins thing sucks, the deals aren't competing with Steam what so ever and there forgetting everyone but America and Canada.
There's no way I'm paying £10-£20 for 3-10 year old games. I'd be willing to spend $5 but I'm left out on that deal.

I kinda want to play Spore even with its bad reviews, as well as the Sims just to revisit my child hood. I can't actually find the original Sims on there though even without this deal, just some of its expansion packs which are £10 each, and Spore is £20 too.
Guess I'll have to go without playing or pirate them. Your loss EA.
 
Yeah i just bought bfbc2(I never really had much money for games :D) I'm willing to spend $5 for that though couldn't let it pass
