Is it compatable?

Ok, thanks. Can anyone recommend a similar intel processor that i should go for?
The reason i wanted the Phenom is i have the x4 in my other computer.
 
nothing wrong with the core 2's, but might be about time to go 1155 or soon am3+ or 2011 or ivy on 1155

If I'm not mistaken, he already has that motherboard, so I don't think he's looking to upgrade both, cause that would entail upgrading the RAM as well.

If I'm wrong and you haven't gotten the motherboard yet, just let us know along with your budget and we can help you out.
 
Sorry, should have explained more. I have the motherboard now, and im looking to buy a new processor to give the computer more power.
Changing the motherboard is a option, but only if i could still use the RAM i have now. As i just bought that too.
EDIT: sorry, my budget is anywhere up to £90. Im not looking for anything powerfull as i have a different computer for that. I just want to be able to run games at medium graphics fairly smoothly.
