So I went to gamestop yesterday and was looking through the up and coming game releases and saw Diablo 3 release date is in Nov. I asked the the person at the counter was that the official date and he said he wasent sure.So I was wondering if ya'll heard anything different?Is it coming out in Nov.?

Also, I heard that there will be an auction where it will deal with real money,is that true?...and how exactly does it work?

Its said to work like a basic auction house, but instead of in game currency you will be using actual money. I keep hearing its supposedly going to come out sometime around the end of the year. If you wanna know more about the auction house yourself, try some interviews or the actual website.

It would seem that a pre Christmas release would make sense. However if they have not announced it by now, it seems a little unlikely. Also it hasn't started beta testing either right? With no beta started yet, when they said they will do an external one, it's not looking likely for 2011.

My guess would be first quarter 2012. I hope I'm wrong.

I would suspect that we would be hearing more about a beta and potential release dates if it were to come out in november. I'd say nov is pretty unlikely and am surprised Gamestop had it advertised like that.

Nothing surprises me about Gamestop. They just want you to preorder.
