Doesn't matter if it's free or not.I would like to run one and see if their is any issues.Seems like I just keep finding mem tests.I want one that checks everything.

there is a program called Speecy its put out by piriform software...try that I think it will be what you want and its a free open source program

Speecy lists the hardware in the system if I am not mistaken. Good to know but I don't think it will test anything

Most of the diagnostic tools that I use are stress tests. So Prime95, MSI Konbustor, Furmark, Memtest86+ are some that I use to ensure stability. What else are you trying to test?

It is a gateway laptop.I want to test if anything is messed up in the intel MOBO,& everything else that is hooked up to the MOBO (dc jack, vga, usbs, wifi card,etc.).It works and all.Its just no matter how many clean OS installs I try,I get a problem.Everything is fine and system runs very smooth until I try to shutdown or restart in normal mode.It will show logoff, shutdown, then when the screen shutsoff to restart or when attempting to just shutdown.Laptop remains to stay on with the screen off.I even tried a brand new HD,same thing still.Chipset,VGA,modem, audio,& wifi are all up to date and seem to run fine.
