Just formatted my computer, now it wont recognise nvidia, is really slow, glitchy, freezes lots, says hardware accellaration is off when its on full and now gives me screen resoloutions which the lowest are HIGHER than somthing like 1330x720 or sommin. Is this just a corrupted OS? As I am reformatting the HDD again, or have I messed up my Harddrive

After the format have you installed your Motherboard Chipset drivers,Nvidia graphics drivers etc?
 
Does the system recovery disk/partition on your system give you the option to do a Full Destructive restore?

Thats what you would want to choose if you want it to be like a fresh install of windows,Not System recovery.

Make sure you back up all your stuff you wan to keep before running a Full Destructive restore as it will wipe it clean.

After the re-install of windows you would want to download and update your Graphics drivers and motherboards drivers.

That IS what I DID and it DOESNT WORK :(
