Laptop Mobos?

Does anyone know where to buy laptop motherboards a decent/good prices? I would like one that has a replaceable CPU and, (If possible) a replaceable GPU.

to fit what case?

Clevo has barebones laptops with MXM3 GPU slots, but they cost almost as much as a new laptop anyway.
 
It's a custom case I'm designing in CAD and my school's metalshop teacher is going to make it for me. I'm planning on it being about a 15" inch screen.
 
it is going to be hard to find just a motherboard and screen to fit a custom case. I would assume that you could get a Clevo/alienware based system and replace the case with your own, but that would cost a lot.
 
Yeesh, I wasn't planning on investing Too much money into it.... Is there any way to attach a battery to a normal mobo?
 
i think this project might be alot more than your thinking it will be, since everything in a lappy is custom designed for the case itself, so it will be an odd shape so there will be room for hdd's and dvd drives, and almost no lappies will have replaceable gpus other than the high end lappy mobo's, that will prob cost you like 2-300 for the mobo alone since the new lappy will be like 1500+, might be able to get some for like 1k+
 
Okay, then how about no replaceable GPU and just replaceable CPU? I think I've seen those a lot lately.
 
you can replace most lappy cpus, since most come in multiple flavors and all use the same base components, you can generally swap the cpu. but i have no idea where to get any of this stuff.

Ebay and Newegg carries lappy cpus. They dont have amd on newegg though.

and BS, if it has a cpu, and not manufactured by apple, it can have the cpu replaced. Ive changed cpus in laptops before, upgraded and downgraded (better power support), but sometimes you have to flash the BIOS before hand.
