Hi, If I put 533MHz memory into a board that can only take 667 and 800MHz (mobo specs) will it work & will it damage anything by trying?

Had to tell. If the boards lowest divider is for 533 it will try to boot at 667 and probably not boot or get massive errors. What motherboard is this?.
 
Dont know. Even the Memory supports list, it doesnt show any 533. My (guess) is that it doesnt have a 533 divider. If anybody you know has a stick of 533, you could just try it to see what happens.

I have some 533MHz, that's why I'm asking.

Ah what the hell, I'll just try it. If it stuffs the mobo I'll blame you...LOL.
