A case for my build.

Hi,

I'm indecisive about which case to choose for my gaming rig build. I've been suggested CM 690 II advanced, CM HAF 922, Lian Li Lancool PC-K62 / K63, Fractal Design Define R3 and from towers; Corsair Graphite 600T, HAF 932, HAF X, DF-85. I prefer the midi ones unless tower makes a considerable difference.

Which one do you suggest and why? Feel free to suggest any other mobos as well

This is my build:
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX560 Ti AMP 1 GB
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3 GHz LGA1155
Power Supply: Corsair TX850W V2 Enthusiast
RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 XMP
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-222AB
Motherboard: Not sure yet
Case: ???

Peripherals:
Mouse: Logitech G700
Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Keyboard
Speakers: Logitech Z523 2.1
Monitor: Not sure yet.

get an icute jet... i suggest this to everyone but it is brilliant... theyre only about £50 where i got mine (highstreet) and it comes with a 14 inch fan, 2 12 inch fans (one lights up!) and a 8 inch that lights up... it has easy opening acess too!

Its a pretty good case. Good cable management. But no side window. Alittle smaller then the other two. Has sorta of a plain look to it. Nothing really wrong with it.

Have you looked at the NZXT Phantom or Tempest EVO?

I've looked them up but they didn't strike me as anything special/better compared to the ones mentioned in the OP.

What do you need a side window for?

For looks, lol. As long as you get one with good cable management/quality made and good air flow. The rest is really just personal preference for the way it looks vs. the money you want to spend.
 
i would suggest the HAF 912 or 922. Im actually using a HAF 912 and my god is it cool. Not only that, it's practically silent. im sitting like 2 feet away from the case and i dont hear a thing, and that's saying something since the case itself has 3 giant fans. I can go on and on about it but i think it's better you check out proper reviews :)

Sure glad I'm not the only one that thinks this thing is UGLY...... We all have opinions, but cough cough sorry just threw up. :eek:
