So I'm not tech savvy enough to build my own so I went through cyber power PC to build it. First off is there a better site to do a custom build through? Secondly here is what I built with playing BF3 in medium to high settings in mind. Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Configuration

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA1155 (All Venom OC Certified)
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Hard Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Module (Corsair or Major Brand)
MOTHERBOARD: [CrossFireX] GigaByte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ Intel Smart Response Tech. & 7.1 Dolby Home Theater Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, 2x SATA-III RAID, mSATA Connector onboard, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 3 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI (All Venom OC Certified)
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card(Major Brand Powered by AMD)

That setup is decent. Could up the GPU a little. But it should play BF3 fine. Not at ultra graphics, probably, but its not out yet so no one knows.

This guy thinks - not good. I don't mean the 6950 or 560Ti.

The power supply (either Raidmax or Extremegear I presume) is going to be junk unless you pay big bucks to upgrade it. And the quality of the PS is a huge factor.

I recommend getting a build spec here @ CF, then assemble it yourself. Those companies don't have anything on some of the members here.

Thinking about warranty? All the parts have at least 1 yr and most 2-5yrs. And in the case of some power supplies, even longer. Sending a unit back to these makers for warranty repairs is no cakewalk. Sometimes it doesn't get fixed or there's a reason why you have to pay.

So by the time you consider what you could have had for the same $$, and everything else -

building it yourself is the way to go.

^^ Agreed, and 1 last comment on your build/buy, you only need 4gb's ram, and they normally charge a good chunk for the 8gb's, so do that then upgrade to the 6950 and once you get it try to unlock the shaders and a minor overclock and you'll save like 50 for the 6970, this isn't a guarenteed thing but it is fairly common to work

That's not so common anymore. This shouldn't be a suggested route as manufactures aren't making them so easy to unlock now. For bang for your buck, the GTX 560Ti is the best option.
