I know that higher the resolution you play at, the more demanding it gets. But what about the size of the screen? Lets say I have a 20'' LCD monitor(1080p), and a 42'' LCD TV/Monitor(1080p), will I get the same performance(FPS)?Or does the size also plays a role in the performance area?

nope, same performance, the bigger screen just stretches out those pixels into a larger area than the smaller one has to.

but what i wonder is, how is the qauilty so good on huge screens upwards of 10 feet when all it does is stratch out the pixels, you would think it would get really bad quality

Size won't matter on a 22" or 27" screen as long as the resolution is constant (eg: 1920x1080 on both screens)

with larger screens pixel density may be poorer unless it's a higher resolution (eg: 2560x1440)

well don't larger tvs also have an active sharpening software running or similar like you use on images, and also on this crappy 17" it only looks hazy when i put it on 1024x768, any higher and it looks sharp (which could have to do with just the monitor and the res not the res itself), which now that i'm thinking about it you've got me wondering too cuz my 65" looks super clear at 1080p, but that's not even 2x the res that makes a 17" look funky, although my tv has no true pixels, it has a projector hitting a mirror then the screen if that changes anything, but i guess it would need some kind of sharpener.
