Formating HDD, reinstalling Windows after dual boot.

Hello! I'm having some problems with my HDD. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with a dual boot of Ubuntu. I no longer have Ubuntu, but the partition is still on my HDD. I also have a corrupted OEM partition along with the SYSTEM RESERVED, and regular ("C:") partition.

I know its a mess, but I would like to completely wipe it out and reinstall Windows on a fresh HDD. I don't want to screw anything up, I'm not sure if the BIOS will get removed too? Or is the BIOS on the motherboard?

Anyway, thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

If you are wanting to completely start over with not having to back up any data, then download and run killdisk on this drive to totally get rid of the data and partitions. Then use the windows install cd to reinstall windows.

Download the dos cd iso file and make a bootable cd.

You won't be accessing the bios to install windows. Just make sure the cdrom is set for boot device in the bios and boot to the windows install cd.
