Will it work together?!

Another issue is that the card says its for a PCIE 2.1.
the mainboard says it only has PCIE 2.0 ports.

does that matter?
 
pcie x16 is all it needs, 1.0 works, 2.0 has more bandwidth, 2.1 has a little more, and soon there will be 3.0 cards and there's already a few 3.0 boards that have an even higher bandwidth.
