Scrabble problem no more

Used to have problems with the free online Scrabble game on my smartphone (Sanyo Kyocera), problems such as keeping the dictionary up and getting dropped out of the playing field or dropped out of the app altogether. Reinstalling did nothing and refreshing the phone provided temporary relief.

I'll let the know-it-all members take a stab at how the problem was repaired (which was by ) before I reveal how it was repaired, which I'll tell next weekend.

(I want to mention that I was mistaken about the value of the Turbo Phone app in speeding up the phone).

Of course there's a point to this thread

What is the point of this thread.. . .. ... ..... .. .. . ... ... . . . .. . . . ..!?

There are many people (I estimate thousands, possibly millions) who are in the same boat, not only with the Scrabble app, but with others (I've lost count as to how many times I've read about freezes, forced closings and other problems).

I once posted about a temporary fix that someone took the stance that it's something that's commonly known (oh really). That attitude tends to trivialize what I offered in the way of handling the problem as it's apparently not commonly known. Anyways I've discovered something that appears to be far stronger that really fixed the problem (to the users - I know it's common to blame the app for the problems, but it's a two-way street and the problem may be with the smartphone itself).

Now you can't tell me that the problems aren't widespread. I also know that the solutions aren't commonly known which I'm proving by holding back on revealing what those solutions are which I'll do this forthcoming weekend - this I'm doing in part to keep some know-it-all from trivializing what I'm doing which I'm doing for free to try to help those with those frustrating problems and that's my point.

Your posts' still don't make any sense.. Why did you make a thread about a fix, but not share the fix?

Edit:
Just read what I've posted today.
I did read all of your postings up to my response.. I did an edit so this thread didn't go back to the top :)

As I promised

The problem is serious enough to warrant mention here as I already know that many others are affected.

People easily overlook the fact that it's a two-way street towards fixing difficult problems like the one I mentioned, not only from the website you downloaded the app from, but on your part as well which you need to recognize.

For me, serendipity has struck. To relate the story, since I couldn't deal with the problem, I uninstalled the app. Then another problem developed where I kept getting asked a password to access the Android market. After trying several things, I went to the store to get the phone reprogrammed. After reprogramming the phone, I reinstalled the app. This time (and it's been over a week), the problems have stayed away where I don't even have to refresh my phone anymore, in regards to Scrabble.

If you're running into stubborn phone problems like the one I mention, you can try that procedure, but a word of caution. Like rooting, this procedure can cause you to lose your apps (maybe some, maybe all - for me it was some) and I would caution to make a list of your apps so that you can go back to the internet and reinstall them.

That's the end of my story and I hope someone benefits.
