So I finally decided to build a new desktop for the new house.

Last time I built a new tower was over 5 years ago... been strictly laptop user since.

Anyhow got the core system built and running:

-Asus P8Z68-V PRO motherboard
-Intel Corei7 2600K, 3.4Ghz processor
-Corsair A70 high performance CPU cooler
-G-Skill Ripjaws X 1600mhz DDR3 (16GB)
-OCZ Vertex3 SSD 120GB (primary boot)
-OCZ Vertex3 SSD 120GB (secondary)
-Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (storage)
-Asus DVD/CD drive
-7-in-1 Media Card Reader Bay
-EvGa GTX 570 DS 1.gG DDR5 video card
-Asus Xonar Sound card
-Corsair HX850 Power Supply (Semi Modular)
-3 Coolermaster 120mm tri-speed fans

And I chose the Corsair 800D Case

I used my old 1920x1080 res Samsung 5 Series 32" LCD Panel and got Logitech Wireless Mouse/Keyboard (MX5500)

Now I gotta figure out this space-age looking BIOS to OC//

Pretty sweet, I have the same CPU and also have an EVGA GTX 570. It was the first desktop I had built in probably 4 years, and forgot how much better they were :D

I'm not much of an overclocker at all so I never do high OC's, but the 2600k went to a reasonable 4.2GHz with no change to voltages and runs rock solid.

I'm also very, very jealous that you have an 800D. If I could have afforded it at the time that would have been my case choice no questions asked.
