Ok so i have a corsair hx 620

I turn the computer off of a night via shut down and then switching it of fat the psu. (reason is that my stupid mobo turn the computer on by itself :P)

Anyway last night i tried to switch the switch on the back of the psu, and it would not click into place to be off, it was like something was stopping it.

Could this be my psu failing?

Or is it just a simple fault that i cant do anything about?

If i continue to use it will it break the whole psu?

As tbh im looking at buying a new one soon anyway as i need a new one for crossfire.
Worse case scenario the rocker switch will not work or burn out.
Will not harm the psu.

ive got a similar problem on my power tower thing actually, the switch wont click down to turn off, is it easy to replace the switch yourself? i do have a soldering iron

if you ever find out let me know, I love a challenge, plus if i blow myself away i may be able to get compensation :P (oj about the comp part)

haha i laughed at that, yeah! my power ower has a £3000 warranty for anything plugged into it, maybe we can both get rich just by being complete idiots. I might give it a go ill check maplin at some point to see if they have any switches the right size

i think i may actually wait and just buy a new one haha, i have soldered before, i used to repair my guitars and put new pick ups in, but to be fair there wasnt a good chance of killing myself so i dont know wether its worth the risk, im young iv got afew years left yet haha :p

Risk->reward ration is just fubar in this situation
