HP problem

Hi guys, new to the forum here and thank you all for having me

Anyways! I have an HP Desktop computer

Specs: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor @2.70GHz
8.00GB of RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
1 TB HDD
ATI RADEON HD 6450 w/ 512MB of dedicated memory
300W PSU

This is what i'm worried about, the PSU. Whenever I play "high-end" games like Mafia II and such (runs perfectly) i hear this high pitched noise coming from my desktop

im assuming its from my power unit becuase when i play minecraft that happens too, but whenever i put it in power saver mode the noise turns out

so what can I do?

i do not want to replace the PSU

P.S. the computer is running fine

it's prob the fan, and i'd say to replace the psu, i doubt your 6450 is even getting it's full power since i'm guessing that's the original psu which means it's a pos, ontop of the card recomending a min psu of 400w, you can replace it with a good one for 45 and have 10 or 15 in mail in rebates.

thanks for the response!
this is not custom built as it did come with the computer...

specs on the cpu:

Thermal Design Power (W):95

specs on gpu:

thermal design power (w) :
20 W DDR3
27 W GDDR5

Replace the power supply before it takes out your computer. If its making a noise, its definately not a good sign.
