stable liquidcooled fx 8150 clocks

actually i have emachine which has ddr2 ram and a good hdd, so i could find a cheap am3 used and get it and use my crappy rosewill 500w, since there isn't anything else like a gpu then i'd be fine as long as i replaced it after a little while, then i can call ms and get them to reliscence the os cuz someone here said they aren't too picky if you doing something like this or i can say i replaced the mobo or whatever, so really i'd be fine, so ha to you sir :P

But, that's not your computer, that's the family computer.

This thing is absolutely getting panned by every tech website. It just flat out sucks. I am about to get rid of the amd motherboard and buy an intel mobo with a i7 2600k

love how you're saying it's getting crap reviews but not mentioning your own personal experiences with it. and also amd has responded to the reviews saying 2 of the big fetures that improve performance aren't used by most programs since they just came out with them. also anandtech said in their review that the win7 scheduler (thing that tells what to go to which core) doesn't know how to use the bulldozer so it doesn't get to use the turbo or anything in some places. also they tested 4 benches on win8 which is supposed to use it and ended up getting from 4 to 10% increases in performance, so it isn't a complete flop, we need to see what this thing can do with the right software before damning it. it's like driving a fast car on ice, it isn't going to go well at the beginning but after a while you might actually get it going somewhere.

I havent really benchmarked the comp yet, been working non stop so ive had no time to sit down and test it. Im just saying it sucks based on all the reviews, thats all.

that's the only way you'd get it, for needing it i win, remember that in my sig you can see my f-ing pentium dual core et2210 @ 2.2ghz and them my computer is a 2x f-ing b1tch-a$$ anthon xp 2400+, and ontop of that my mbr is screwed up from trying win8 dev preview so i can't even use the damn computer, i think i win on that front which isn't one you want to win on

The car and ice thing doesn't make too much sense lol the problem isn't getting it going the problem is stopping it

obviously you haven't seen the benches and also try flooring it on ice and see how fast it accelerates man, and then once it is working and going there will be no way to stop it :P

Do you have any pics of this cpu and clocks?

ill take some pics when i feel like it and im not working or at the gym or doing something. Not to be rude, not much time in schedule to prove what I have to someone I dont know. I already posted pics of the build without the fx in it before i got it.

As for clocks, ill post those this weekend. :D

depends on the vehicle, i was saying like a corvette or something that goes fast, and those things can do a burnout on pavement, so trying something on ice would just sit there spinning the tires for a minute.
